Our member funds have been really busy dealmaking over the summer, there are some new interesting reports launched and we have some inspiring events coming up in autumn. October marks the election of the new EstVCA Management Board and we hope to see many of you as candidates, more info coming very soon.

 

The Baltic VCA Summit 2021 this year takes place in Vilnius already next week, on September 9th, and we're looking forward to seeing many of you there!

The largest Baltic PE/VC event – The Baltic VCA Summit 2021 – this time takes place on September 9th in Vilnius. The event is inspired by Nordic values and focuses on the powerful practices of ESG. We are looking forward to enjoying quality time together by experiencing Lithuanian nature, local and Scandinavia-inspired flavours, exciting entertainment, and much more.

  • TIME: September 9th, 2021 
  • LOCATION: Conference venue is Farmer’s Circle - a Nordic-style sustainable biodynamic farm and event venue (an hour drive from Vilnius). Dinner and party take place in Vilnius, at a multipurpose high-end restaurant complex Bizarre. 
  • TICKETS: Get your event tickets HERE, places are limited. 
  • LOGISTICS: All attendees will need to book their plane tickets separately, Baltic VCAs will organise bus transportation from and to the conference venue. We will start the registration to the buses soon, so you’ll be hearing from us soon.

In recent years, regions such as the Nordics have developed flagship startups including Spotify and Klarna. In 2020 and 2021 YTD, startups based in the Baltic region have also completed sizeable rounds. This region, containing Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, is becoming an attractive VC ecosystem for investors, founders, and startups.

7. juulil alustas Londoni börsil kauplemist Wise, mille väärtus jõudis samal päeval 11 miljardi euroni. AK majandusuudistes kommenteeris selle mõju ka EstVCA juhatuse esimees Margus Uudam.
