Time to wrap up the busy April for the PE/VC community. It has been overwhelming to see the huge hearts behind various initiatives the investor community is leading by organising help to Ukraine spanning from cars, drones, and medical essentials to everything the frontline is in need for. Thank you for helping to be stronger together!

April saw an impressive number of record size deals, fundraising news, and lots of activity on the events side.

We really hope to see many of you at our Annual General Meeting 2022 on 11 May at Palo Alto Club in Telliskivi. And with Latitude59 approaching, we’re looking forward to greeting the local and international tech community at the grande anniversary event. Not to mention the launch of the Baltic 2021 market data on 17 May and Investor Camp in Vilnius on 25 May.

BPM Mezzanine Fund II held the first close to invest in mezzanine debt in the Baltic and Polish growth companies

BPM has reached the first close of its second investment fund, BPM Mezzanine Fund II with the first close commitments close to €60m. The target size of BPM Mezzanine Fund II is €70m.

AGENDA:

The event will take us on a brief journey to key achievements in 2021, plans for 2022, approval of the 2021 annual report, 2022 budget, new membership fees, and election of a new board member. The event also features the exclusive launch of EstVCA members’ 2021 data.

We’re extremely glad to also welcome a guest speaker at our event – STEN TAMKIVI, who has promised to guide us through the maze of Web3/NFT/DAO at a cozy fireside chat.

AWARDS & WINNERS: the most outstanding transactions carried out in the Baltics during the period 1 January 2021 – 31 March 2022 were awarded at the evet. The award winners are Livonia selling Santa Monica Networks and acquiring CSUB, Wise’s debut on London Stock Exchange, Bolt’s impressive fundraising rounds as well as Fortum’s sale of its Baltic business.
