Will autumn exceed a busy summer?

Great to e-greet you, dear EstVCA members and friends!

It has been a busy summer for EstVCA members with 14 transactions announced, three of those being exits. We also welcomed two new members, witnessed the establishment of a new fund on the market, took part in updating Startup Estonia model documents and are preparing systematic cooperation with Estonian universities.

There's also news on events sphere - although our annual Summit his year was postponed, we are currently planning a "PE/VC MEETUP 2020" event, dates and further details to be announced soon. And make sure you skim through our website EVENTS section, where we've gathered various industry events in the region that might be of interest to you, now many held fully online.

Best wishes,

PE/VC module

As many of you know, EstVCA is planning a more systematic cooperation with Estonian universities and aims to advise on creating a thorough PE/VC subject module. We recently invited all our members and associate members to cooperate in the process via a short survey and received approx 30 replies, thanks so much for the input! We have now compiled the structure of the potential subject module and will tailor it based on the input received. Stay tuned on next steps and further developments in the area, we'll include all the respondents that indicated their interest.

UT spin-off program

EstVCA is working on establishing a more systematic cooperation with The University of Tartu in further development of their spin-off program.

The initiative is  coordinated by EstVCA board member Martin Hendre.
